File Search Utility

File Search Utility is a small .NET application to quickly search through files. You can type part of a file name and it will filter the results to only files with that substring in the name. This is similar to the search in Apple's iTunes.

The application uses an Inverted Index to store the list of files in a way that can be quickly searched.
It was written in C# to experiment with computationally intensive programming in a managed language.

The first version was created on January 3, 2010
